AnnFrances was a sweet, beautiful, kind and gentle young woman who loved life. She enjoyed dancing, hanging out at the beach and playing soccer. On her 16th birthday, she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. She was forced to take breaks from school and other activities she loved while undergoing treatment. Although she was told she would never dance competitively again, she was determined to participate in her high school culminating dance performance. She choreographed and performed in her Grade 12 culminating dance performance at St. Joan of Arc C.H.S. She graduated high school with honours in 2017. Sadly, on June 28, 2018, she passed away from osteosarcoma. Our Grade 8 students will lead the school along the Terry Fox path. Kindergarten will remain in the school yard for their walk. No additional forms are needed as students submitted their signed Walking Permission Forms at the beginning of the year. We will be collecting a loonie or toonie on Wednesday, May 6 to be donated to Sarcoma Research Canada.

Thursday, May 7 – Theme: The Holy Spirit Lives in You

– Wear bright colors (yellow, orange, red), or anything representing fire, wind or light!

–  School Read Aloud at 1:00 p.m.

Friday, May 8 – Theme: Together on the Journey

– Wear Matching group outfits, jerseys, school colors or costumes that represent teamwork (sports teams, clubs, etc.)!
