The 2024 Christmas season is quickly approaching and Father John Kelly will once again be supporting the Holiday Heroes Campaign. This year marks the 28th time the Holiday Heroes Campaign has been able to change the lives of families who have come into hard times. We are asking families, if possible, to donate a new, unwrapped toy for children of all ages, gift cards or diapers/baby essentials. Since the launch of the campaign 28 years ago, York Regional Police has raised more than $2 million for families in need during the Christmas season. This year’s school toy drive will run from Wednesday, November 13 to Monday, December 2. A one-day pick up has been arranged for the morning of Wednesday, December 4. One hundred percent of donations directly support the children and families from our York Region community who are in need.
